We celebrated the ribbon cutting dedication of the Gray’s Reef Ocean Discovery Center on October 15, 2022 as part of our Save Spectacular Celebration.
Located at 340 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Savannah, Georgia, the Gray’s Reef Ocean Discovery Center will feature interactive exhibits for you to explore the wonders of Gray’s Reef National Marine Sanctuary. Visitors can learn about the live-bottom habitats teeming with ocean life, take virtual dives, and learn their personal role in protecting one of our nation’s remarkable underwater treasures.

Gray’s Reef Society Soiree
The Gray’s Reef Society Soiree capped off our celebration on October 15, 2022 with a ticketed reception at the SCAD Pei Ling Chan Gallery for our members, sponsors and partners. For more photo from the event, see Bunny Ware’s WSAV slideshow.
Our Soiree featured a selection of ocean-inspired artwork on display by local artisans: Joy Dunigan, Harry DeLorme, and Barbel Brooks. It was catered by The Dive Savannah who provided a tantalizing spread of hors’ douvers for Soiree guests, while a jazz trio from the Fabulous Equinox Orchestra serenaded under the dazzling fall sky.
