Think and Green Drinks with the Scientists

This past March, in honor of Science + Saint Patrick’s Day, we co-hosted our first happy hour event at the Ocean Discovery Center. We had a full house, with familiar and new faces, all coming together to connect around sustainability and the environment.

This event was a collaborative effort, bringing together the missions of Think and Drink with the Scientists, Gray’s Reef National Marine Sanctuary, the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation, Green Drinks Savannah, and Savannah Riverkeeper to highlight the incredible marine and coastal science happening in our community and to spark meaningful discussions on sustainability. It’s also a perfect example of how collaboration—just like in science and conservation—is essential for protecting and preserving our natural wonders.

A special thanks to Dr. Daniel Gleason for sharing his expertise on Gray’s Reef, and to Vici Rooftop Bar for crafting a signature green themed cocktail – so we could all say cheers to conservation – and donating proceeds to support the sanctuary!
